Carpenter's Club

The Carpenter’s Club...
An easy way to become a vital part of our ministry!

Carpenter’s Club is a Multi-Year Giving
membership that allows Habitat to recognize the financial support which is committed over a number of years. A commitment greater than one year allows Habitat to plan for the funding of more houses for future families.

Carpenter Club members are included in our annual giving levels. Members are also invited to tour a Habitat home, to attend special events, and are recognized on our website and in our newsletter.

All donations raised are designated to the construction of houses for qualified
hard-working families in our community!

Your donation may be applied to our homes currently under construction, to our
Youth United, Women Build, or
Faith and Interfaith Builds.

Just Think...

By signing up for the Carpenter’s Club, you’ll know that your donations provide stable, reliable funding toward our efforts to eliminate substandard housing in the Wiregrass.
Choose any amount that you feel comfortable giving, and see how the impact of those dollars makes a difference in the lives of our Habitat families:

$10 a month could buy a weekly latte...
 or two large windows!
$15 a month could buy 2 movie tickets...
or a front door and three boxes of nails!
$25 a month could buy a nice dinner out...
or a bath/shower enclosure and a sink!

Please join Carpenter’s Club TODAY!

“Do not doubt that a small group of people can change the world.
Indeed it is the only thing that can.” Margaret Mead

Donor Bill of Rights

Philanthropy is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To ensure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the nonprofit organizations and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all donors have these rights:

I. To be informed of the organization's mission, of the way the organization intends to use donated resources, and of its capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.

II. To be informed of the identity of those serving on the organization's governing board, and to expect the board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.

III. To have access to the organization's most recent financial statements.

IV. To be assured their gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.

V. To receive appropriate acknowledgement and recognition.

VI. To be assured that information about their donation is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.

VII. To expect that all relationships with individuals representing organizations of interest to the donor will be professional in nature.

VIII. To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organization or hired solicitors.

IX. To have the opportunity for their names to be deleted from mailing lists that an organization may intend to share.

X. To feel free to ask questions when making a donation and to receive prompt, truthful and forthright answers.
Thank you for considering a donation to Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity.  Each gift you make helps a family in need of decent shelter.

All WHFH donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law and will be acknowledged with a letter you may use for those purposes.  Gifts made on-line are safe, thanks to our secure-server capability and will be put to good use by Habitat.   We take seriously our responsibility to contributors, to those counting on our help to be wise stewards of funds entrusted to us.
If there is a poor man with you, one of your brothers, in any of your towns in your land which the Lord your God has given you, you shall not harden your heart, nor close your hand from your poor brother; but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks.
